Hi, my name is Anthea Chu! Online I’m known as 5pxrky or Sparky.
I’m currently a college student studying Aerospace Engineering. However, I’m not only someone who loves math, physics, and solving problems, but also a graphic designer, illustrator, and website designer.
I started learning and practicing art since i was little. I’ve tried all different kindsof arts – from sketching, oil painting, water-color painting, ceramics, to digital art. I carry a sketch book with me and like to draw my ideas whenever they come to me. I enjoy those moments of making vague ideas into visualizations.
I’ve practiced art for over a decade. I’ve been working as a freelance artist for 4+ years now and have delivered work for more than 40 clients, some with followings of over 100k.
In Highschool, I volunteered as President of the Chinese American Parent Association of Montgomery County’s IT Club to design and build websites both for the organization and other non-profit organizations in Maryland.
In my free time I stream video games and art on Twitch and post art on X (previously Twitter).
